Cornerstone Nonprofit Healthcare was founded to provide an affordable, community-focused healthcare alternative in Omaha, NE. By merging mobile healthcare with micro-practices, we operate a mobile clinic built in a tiny house, offering low-overhead, efficient care. Inspired by mission trips to Guatemala, the Philippines, and Haiti, founder Cherisa saw the need for compassionate, culturally aware healthcare both abroad and locally. Since 2017, Cornerstone has served underserved communities in North Omaha, particularly refugees, by building strong relationships and overcoming cultural barriers. Now, we're entering a new chapter, focusing on fundraising and community partnerships to grow and expand our vision.

Cherisa Meyer-Fletcher
My journey in healthcare began after losing my mother to breast cancer, which inspired me to devote my life to helping others. Starting as a Registered Nurse and then Physician Assistant, I’ve gained a deep understanding of patient care and healthcare challenges. Through mission work in Guatemala, the Philippines, and Haiti, I saw firsthand the power of community-focused healthcare. These experiences, along with my leadership roles in both clinical settings and nonprofit work, led me to found Cornerstone Nonprofit Healthcare in 2018. Today, I am committed to driving our mission forward, ensuring we provide compassionate, accessible healthcare to underserved communities while leading our organization with vision and strength.

With extensive experience serving the refugee community and underserved populations, our team includes experts in medicine, language interpretation, pharmaceuticals, nursing, and home health case management.
